Visiting Stonehenge and Bath

I decided to go on a tour with my cousin and her Mom to Stonehenge and Bath. We went with a tour company called Premium Tours. We had Sarah as a tour guide, her commentary along the way was very interesting. Highly recommend this tour.

We departed Victoria Coach Station at 8:15 and got to Stonehenge at 10:30. There is a new welcome centre with an exhibition and a restaurant. This wasn't there the last time Athol and I visited in 2011. The original car park is now been converted back to grass. We were lucky as the weather was great.

We left at 12:00 to Bath. and arrived at 1pm. We were taken on a tour on foot around Bath by Sarah then we had free time until 16:45. We had lunch at Chimichunga - mexican food. We walked around. Bath is such a pretty place. It is alongside the River Avon.

Was at the Jane Austen Centre, apparently she lived and wrote here at 40 Gay Street, Bath.

We also visited the Roman Baths. We got to taste the spring water for free at the end, it tasted warm with a metal taste.

The English countryside is also beautiful because of all the rain.
