It happened to also be the London Marathon so roads were closed and there were thousands of people everywhere. Chaotic actually! The subway was packed. It is probably the busiest day to be out in London. There are about 40k runners every year.

We then caught the subway from Tower Bridge to Embankment. We walked to the Parliament Buildings and along Whitehall, past Mr Cameron's residence (aka the Prime Minister) at 10 Downing Street. You can't actually see the front door as there is a gate.
We then walked to Trafalgar Square and Leicester Square. Then to Chinatown. We did a lot of walking! We picked up some tasty Chinese treats. With displays like these how can you resist :)
